Is there anyway to turn the preview clip function off, or at least turn the volume down?
sometimes when i am dragging clips into the arrangement, they start previewing, and the preview is much louder than the master volume so nearly blows my speakers

Turn it Off the monitor - the small headphon in the Browser.

if you adjust the cue volume (by the master) you can turn down the volume of the pre-listen tracks.
