One of the more complicated things I've built lately.

By far the best example I have seen of the complexity of mischief possible with live 9 suite and sounds amazing ..... thankyou!!!! Looking forward to more stuff from you Tom!

Er also is there a finished pack/rack to download :P Sooooo cheeky

Thanks for the tutorial:) I can now retire King Dubby and finally move my setup to 64bit! So much control over the effect too. Great work.

Really nice tutorial

And a very clever rack

Just one observation

I noticed that at about 15 minutes in you took a lot of time to name each chain rack and give it a separate number

If you just number the rack "#" it will autonumber 8)

And I also wondered - why put a gate on the end of the listening chain if you can just mute the chain?

Another observation: put the new M4L spectrum runner in there and you truly have a recipe for mayhem 8O

Great idea-I like to make my creative choices as dangerous as I can pull off, while playing it as safe as possible on folk's ear drums. I could definitely put a couple of my returns through here.

And I like the resulting dub delay. Makes me wonder if I can clear out filter delay from my regular use.

If you wanted to add a return just for plugins that can get carried away-saturator, for example-would you put it on the listener return track or pick a separate return for it?

What is the final gate doing on the listener group? (the first one Tom drops after setting up the 8 pacman monster eq band?). Couldn't a limiter go here or nothing at all? And as for coloring the sound that does pass through, what about using the soft clip on the saturated here rather than the gate? In other words, why not have it serve double duty and replace the limiters and that final gate with its own soft clip and envelope?

If I then wanted to drive the resulting sound from this stage, would this signal flow then open the flood gates and get me in trouble again with errant feedback?

Cheers
