Exporting midi clips WITH enveloppes ?

Hey there,

I looked on the forum for such a topic but didn't found anything relevant:

I'd like to know if anyone here managed to export a midi clips WITH pitch and mod wheel envelopes.

This has been a headache for the whole past week, trying to collab with a friend that use another DAW, and it seems like there isn't any way to export midi clips from ableton and keep the envelopes in the clips. This is such a pain in the ass considering that we have to screen and draw back again the envelopes from one DAW to the other....

Anyone experienced such problems ? Any way to do that though ?

Which DAW are you importing into?

When I export a clip from Ableton 9, and reimport it back in, the envelopes are duplicated.

Also, when I do the same with Logic 9, the envelopes are there straight away.

Perhaps it's an issue with the program you're importing into...?

We 're trying to work with Live 8 and FL 10

In Live 11 it only exports points on the envelope to midi, not lines. It's probably the same for Live 8. It's frustrating, midi exporting is very lackluster in Ableton. I'd like a way to point-ify an envelope so I can easily export to midi.
