importing midi files into Live 9
importing midi files into Live 9
has live 9 changed the way it loads midi files? in live 8 you could select a partiular track from the midi file and just import that track. This doesn't seem to be the case with Live 9 - it brings in all the tracks.
Am I missing something?

Re: importing midi files into Live 9
I had a very prompt reply from Ableton support on this subject. It is something they are aware of and was overlooked in redesign of v9 browser. They are unable to state when it will be re instated.
Re: importing midi files into Live 9
thats scandalousy
overlooked
maybe they have been overexited about their new toy "push"
the changes from 8 to 9 seems to sitting deeper then from 7 to 8... but well!
i have evenings with no crashes while extended editing and i remember times
i was unsure if its better to save before importing a sample or vst, because
crashes came up 2-3 times an hour ... so 9 is very good, just missed the import of midi
and thought i changed something in the prefernces..but -NO- not my fault. thanks for clearfication on this
"bug".

Once I bought a Software - it was able(then!) to browse multiple kinds of MIDI-Files.
Also the one- which contained severeal miditracks... Nowadays its updated and it can`t.
WHY ?

better try to phone them and record the call to make a track of it ? maybe "unheared voices" would be a nice name
