Old plugins in x64 with jBridge, ex. Wizoo Darbuka fix!

Post by bjoeri » Thu Dec 12, 2013 4:42 pm

Hi!
Loaded up an old project which had the Wizoo Darbuka plugin. It's 32bits so I use jBridge to emulate 64bits.
However there was some problems with the GUI, could't load any presets.
Here's how I got it to work:
When runnig a jbridged plugin, you have just under the plugins main windows a button named "settings", push it to get access to the dialog box for jBridge.

Check the Check box: "Switch to separate GUI mode (per plugin only, requires plugin restart)"
Remove the instance of Darbuka and add it again. Now the settings dialog for jBridge is separated from the plugins GUI and loading of presets works (for me!)
One nag to be aware of, if you click on Abletons main GUI, Darbuka will come under Ableton. To access it again, alt+tab(PC) to switch between your open windows, or move Abletons GUI, or click the plugin edit icon (the wrench) twice.
Hope this helps anyone.
This also works with Wizoo Latigo
Cheers!
