Clean up project

Post by The Carpet Cleaner » Mon Jan 13, 2014 5:27 pm

Hey Guyyyyzzzz.

Cleaning the hard drive, need to make space.

I've got some projects where I recorded tons of audio, but at the end only used a little bit of them.

But the project is still super heavy. I want to get rid of the useless audio takes.

So far what I find the easiest way to do : "save as" in another folder, them a new "collect all and save". It's only going to collect the actually used audio file and leave the useless one alone.

So it's cool but is there any other way, like an something this way " delete and purge unused audio files" or something like that?

Cheers guyyyzzzzz

Unfortunately not, your way is the easiest usually. You can choose to Manage Files from the File menu, then Manage Project, then choose Unused Files. This will show you all the unused files in the browser, which you can delete. Your method normally is faster though.

hum I just discovered how to make a live pack ^^ I never bothered with that before.

That might be a good solution, after a collect all and save, to pack a finished project.
