Binding macro controls in a rack

Post by sAy-music » Sat Oct 18, 2014 12:09 pm

Hello,

I am having troubles when trying to bind multiple macro controls, from different audio tracks, under a same rack.
The aim is to group multiple macro controls from various tracks, so I can control them easily with Ableton Push.

For example let's say I have two tracks : Lead & Bass, and I want to control the Cutoff of each of these tracks.
I would like to have, under a same rack, two knobs : one for the Lead's cutoff and the other one for the Bass' cutoff.

I did not find how to bind a rack's knob to an external macro control.
Here I use Massive VST and it seems like it is impossible to do so...

How can I bind an external macro control to a rack knob?
What is the correct way to do so, even if not using a rack?

Thank you in advance!

One can only map macros to controls that are within that rack.

However, you can MIDI map the same CC to many different rack macros.

So, if you have a controller (if you don't, get one) you can set up 2 racks for your lead and bass and map those cutoff macros to the same knob.
