Memo to myself; Read The Manual

Post by Stromkraft » Sat Mar 21, 2015 9:59 pm

Rather than assuming something can't be done, read the Ableton Live manual.

It's so easy to assume you must understand how everything is supposed to work or set up properly only by trying — which is if course good to do — but so many things I was wondering about when I started using Live, many of which other users wouldn't or couldn't answer when I asked it, I found much later in the manual. If I'd only taken the time to read it all just a little bit every day!

This is one of the better gifts you can give yourself as an Ableton user, yet it's so easy to overlook. I notice I'm not alone in not reading the manual. Read the Ableton Live manual!

It's actually one of the better manuals I've read.

Good advice! I'm currently on page 295 of the manual. :)

I have been for a couple of months now...
