Question, is it possible to have a clip fade out when the scene is stopped?
example: I'm using Ableton in Session View for drum loops for a band and I am using a pad wav under each song that is 30 minutes long to help with the dead space in-between each song and help with transitions. My problem is this: When I get to the end of the last song in the set, I either must manually fade the channel slider that holds the pad wav or just press space bar to stop the whole scene thus the sound suddenly stopping. Is there a way to make this pad wav i'm using fade out without me having to manually do it?
I can't cut the pad wav file to the length of the songs because the songs endings may change in length. Anybody know if this is possible?

Re: Fade out/stop question
Yes, you can trigger the WAV from a (drawn) held MIDI note and use the sampler's "Release" setting to set the length of the fade that will then automatically occur when you hit the stop button.

Re: Fade out/stop question
Using a MIDI channel kinda changes the game –– in my case I can't know how long to hold that MIDI note, and I couldn't figure out how to remove the "off" part of a note with Max although I think it's possible. I'd like to not have to rely on Max though. @mtmart1212 did you find a way to stop/fade audio clips in scene view?
