Panning

Post by XXXPERCUSSION » Sat Jul 01, 2017 5:09 pm

Is there a wat to make an audio sample pan less? I currently have a really good sample in which I have to intentions to swap out. The only problem is it fully pans from one side to the other. This makes it sound weird if the listener is using one earbud or headphone. Is there a way to make it pan a bit less so that it can always be heard on the both speakers?

It's not clear here if this is a sample with this panning burned in in the audio itself or if it's a Sampler/Simpler patch. If the former the only way I can see is converting to mono. If the latter change the patch so you don't get this extreme panning.
