Is there a envelope to do that?? I need to make my longer note go from low volume to high volume while it's being played----i tried the midi ctrl volume envelope and that didn't make any sound--im using serum

A single note?
Velocity is not a continuous MIDI message, it is a property of the whole note, it can't vary in a single note.
It is the instrument that decides how it will interpret the MIDI messages it receives, many synths don't respond to certain messages, and even when they do, the preset doesn't use it to do anything.
For Serum, set the MIDI CC 7 envelope, right-click the Master knob and select "MIDI learn" from the context menu and play the Clip, it should assign the MIDI CC 7 to the Master volume knob, you will start seeing it move with the envelope.
