Master

Post by naomifix » Wed Oct 24, 2018 7:43 am

So has anyone ever just felt flat out shy about their music? I love singing and I'm so happy with my songs, I have given myself so much time and I'm still so not where I want to be in terms of hiring someone to master/mix
It's all pretty thrown together still
And I don't trust ANYONE!!
I feel like I will have an album by next summer, I've taken some travel breaks and it has helped immensely
I mostly just want this album for me but if it was properly edited and mixed and mastered and all that fancy stuff I think it could sound pretty awesome
Is there people who do that if you send a demo?
Like professional people?
I just want to hear the result and take a chance.
Is that corny?
Cheesey?
Dreamy?
:)

So you basically want someone to do maybe a little bit of production, mixing, and then someone to master?

That's the norm if you can afford it. Find someone who's sound you like and take it from there.

This guy really has some insane analog gear, mainly mixing and mastering. Tons of experience in electronic and other genres. Really great to work with.

One of the forum admins I believe runs innerportal studios. I've never worked with him but just from listening to his examples on his page and his experience with electronic music I would personally dig to send him some stuff one day. He also offers a consultation deal which sounds cool.

MindFlux, long time experience in electronic music, they are also on my wishlist.

My top 3. I'm sure there are a ton more that other's can recommend. Unfortunately for production I can't really recommend anyone but I believe most places can offer some level of production assistance.

Don't forget they are working for you. No need to be shy or feel intimidated.
