Backing Track Volume ?! -> SPDSX

Post by SabMon » Fri May 03, 2019 11:30 am

Hey guys,

I hope someone can help me. It is quite urgent !

here is my problem:

I got some audio files from the studio, imported them in Ableton as audio and I created a Click Track to it on another track.
I bounced them to put them on my SPDSX Sample Pad. But: They had different Volume Levels, I do not know why !? Some are way too loud, some are too quiet. The Output level on my SPDSX is always the same.

Can somebody help ? Thanks

Are the SPD-SX pads set at a fixed velocity (Dynamics off) or variable depending on how hard you hit the pad (Dynamics on)?

Yep, sure. The dynamics on the SPDSX are fixed (dynamics off). So I need something like a Loudness Meter for Ableton. I have to prepare the backing track before I put it on the SPDSX but I do not know how. "Normalizing" the Tracks is not enough.
Any plug in ideas? And which db-level should backing tracks have normally?

thx tough
