I have a waveform from Massive that I was able to import successfully into Serum (100% cloned) however Serum's FM is very harsh and I would love to use Ableton's Operator with the custom waveform.
Does anyone know how to import waveforms into Ableton's Operator?
This is strictly for neuro bass sound design.

Re: Importing single cycle wave into Operator
I don't think you can, mate. You can create your own custom waveform by drawing it in Operator, but as far as I know you can't import a custom waveform - I think that's more of a wavetable synth thing (like Serum or Ableton's own Wavetable).

Its possible however the tools to do so are really old and abandoned... I reached out to the Developer but no response.Shift Gorden wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 5:34 pmI don't think you can, mate. also the utility but I have no idea how to use this thing... keeps outputting weird slices instead of a single cycle .ams file.

Hi,
I wrote a script for Octave that converts single cycle waveforms into AMS files. Try it.
