I would like to add an effect only at the end of a loop (and not for the whole track). So I would like to end a loop-clip with e. g. an echo, but not sure how because you can add an effect as it seems only for the whole audio-track? I would need an information how I can tell Ableton the part of the clip I want to master (e. g. in order to fade out). Since now I sliced and copied the part to a new track in order to do so, but there must be a better way?
Cheers Peter

a) 19. Automation and Editing Envelopes
and/or
b) 20. Clip Envelopes
Use a) (in arrangement view) when you want your effect to work on the very end of the all repitions of a looped clip, use b) when you want it on, say, every last bar of a four bar clip.
If your echo sits in a return track automate Mixer | [the apropriate send].
