Hello!

I am MIDI mapping individual clips to launch independently. I understand how to MIDI and Key map.

Here is the issue:
Clip set to "Trigger Mode"
Clip is MIDI mapped to C4.
Upon pressing C4, clip is launched, but instead of Trigger mode, it is launching in Repeat mode.
The clip is acting like I am holding C4 down, but I am not!
Clip repeats anywhere between 3 - 7 times, and then moves on as normal.
I have tried using different controllers, but the issue still persists.
**All other MIDI mappings work just fine (Scene Launch, Scene Up, Scene Down, Stop Clips, etc.).
No Follow Action is enabled on the clip.

NOTE: intermittent issue. Sometimes it launches in Trigger mode just fine.
NOTE: also happens when the clip is Key mapped (the letter "a," for example).

Suggestions?

Can you post a screen shot of your settings? You will need to find a host for the image and post the link here

Check you quantize setting in the clip, maybe the trigger will play the sample until the end of a bar if it is set to global or 1 bar

maybe also try gate, this is great for longer samples that maybe you want to play full, half and quarter at different points in a track/performance
