Tracks

I like to arrange my tracks with similar Clips. For instance. Track one and 2 would have drum clips. 3 would have bass clips. Then I would add tracks with other similar clips. The problem I encounter is sometimes I can't drag a bass clip into the bass track, The program won't let me. I can drag it to another track but I want to keep the similar sounds in the same track. What gives. Also, what do the icons next to the clips, sounds , effects and so on mean?

Maybe you should have a look at these videos, in the manual or at tutorials on youtube as it seems like you're missing some core knowledges about Live.
