I have found out that between two clips minutes apart in a sequencer track the whole tail of dead silence after the first one has been frozen, too. Is there a smart way to tell ableton not to freeze a space between clips?
There are two peculiarities here:
1. if a clip is not followed, it does not leave such a mega tail
2. using utility at the end of the fx chain with automation of gain to go down to min, which further deadens the silence does not prevent the tail.
This entails huge waste of time and SSD / backup space. How do you deal with that / prevent?
The other thing, any way to freeze a clip with its 'head' and tail in session view?
