I have posted here as the User's help discussion thread is locked.
I have been sold Ableton Live Lite 10 with a preamp budle.
It really seems impossible to import mp3s, it seems to be designed for live midi input and recording streams.
Before I re-install it is it at all possble to import mp3s to this software without upgrading?

yes. But may help to detail how you are trying to import these MP3 files.
Are you locating them in the Live browser and dragging them in?
Are you trying to drag them from your computers explorer?
What OS are you using?
Have you looked through the start of the manual yet for some guidance?

Yes of course I looked through the manual before posting.

Please do not worry at all giving any further help as I have gone back to Cakewalk and Audacity.
