Looping Audioclips in Session Individual (not Global?)

Post by koevoet » Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:03 pm

Hi there,

While assigning my MIDI to different parameters in Ableton I noticed that:

When I try to assign MIDI to put the loop function on/off in an audioclip in session view (on the left side of the waveform in Sample) - it seems that every audioclip (global - also in different channels) are all connected to the same MIDI button. Does somebody know if it's possible to loop every track individual? So that in case in Channel 1 I put a loop via a MIDI button, Channel 2 is not looping. Hope that's a clear description haha.

thnx!

Yes via MaxforLive or ClyphX Pro, no not natively.

The MIDI Mapping is fixed and not dynamic so the looping will be any clip that is in focus.

Cheers
