edit clip loop points without touching the computer???

Post by smartabletonuser » Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:01 pm

Is there a way to select a clip and then get into the clips' edit view using a controller and without having to double click the clip?

I want to set in/out loop points on the fly from my controller. but it seems that the only way to do this is by double clicking the clip, to get into the clip view.

well once you have the clip properties in view, u control the in /out/loop points with the controller.

so yea getting there is the thing...
one workaround is to "dummy-fire" the clip u wanna tweak. as long as its not in a track with a clip playing already (always a good chance it will be :x )...u can fire it with the tracks volume or mute down, and stop it, then, it's selected now. if, select on launch pref is on.
my favorites at the moment: MASSIVE. FM8. LIVE 6. Bome's Pro. KORE.

yes, but this still doesn't get me into the clip properties view. If I select a track and fire it remotely, the properties view will not show up.
