Hi guys,

I have two questions, and hope you guys can help me out.

For a performance I want to make my heartbeat audible live using Ableton. I adjust it using EQ, compressor, and sometimes I even shift the frequency to make the 'kick' in it more audible. The equipment I use is a stethoscope attached to a neckbandmicrophone connected with Ableton trough a audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2) and then sending the audio to a sound card to hear it live on the subwoofers.
The problem is that the sound on the subs is quite dull. Does anyone know how to make it more clear? To hear the kick more clearly?

The 2nd question:
I also tried to connect the heartbeat-audio to a kick and playing them at the same time. In this way the kick will amplify the heartbeat sound. The only thing is, is that the tempo of the heartbeat is changing rapidly and the kick is consequent. Is there any way to play the kick on the sound of the heartbeat? Like connecting them two? Only when the heartbeat track is producing sound, the kick track also produces sound so that they always sound together?

Hope you can help me out!!
