Freeze selected parts of a track

Post by statlerandwaldorf » Thu Jul 28, 2005 3:31 am

Ever had a softsynth with other effects in the chain where the softsynth needs to be frozen to free resources but you want control of one or more of the effects.

Its pretty obvious, but if you insert a new audio track, drag the effects you want to change from the VST track to the new audio track, route the vst to the new audio track and then just freeze the VST you can do just that.

The easy ones are sometimes overlooked. I know i did for a couple of days..
