Mirror a MIDI clip

I have a MIDI clip that has an assymetrical rhythm. I want to mirror it (reverse so to say). However, the reverse function reverses it incorrectly, and the stretch notes workaround is quite cumbersome, certainly as the notes are not really on a specific beat. Any suggestions?

One way I found now is to put auxiliary notes at each end of the clip and then reverse. However, you need to put the auxiliary note at the right before the last regular note or it does not reverse correctly.

It's had to say without seeing the clip's content, but if you've found a workaround that's probably good enough.
If the reverse (and/or invert) button need a little bit of anticipation/setup of your notes before pressing it, that doesn't mean that it doesn't work correctly but that you need several steps to achieve your goal.
