How to; Hot signal to Live from Reasons with re-wire.

Post by fuentes925 » Tue Mar 11, 2003 7:30 am

Hello
I have noticed that a recorded drum loop from Reasons into Live will not sound as load as a drum loop from a sample cd. In Reasons I will push the volume to slightly clip and it will still sound at a lower volume than sampled drum loops from a cd with in Live. Is there any tips on getting the highest possible signal from Reasons to Live with re-wire?
Thanks for any tips on the matter.

hello cally!
on reasonfreaks website one post said that everysound that comes out of reason has a tiny bit of extra headroom so the sound does nt distort, check out the reason freaks website..all the best from the uk.

hello
Thanks for the advice. I have fixed this problem I had with low volume drum loops from reasons to Live, I have recently started using the ppg Vintage warmer(compressor limiter) plug-in and and I found that it is very usefull for boosting sounds and giving that extra punch to the kick drum, much more usefull than Lives compressor.

Thanks
