hi,
probably a newbie stupid question but... can I easily change the syncopation of a loop with Live. The problem is, I have a loop with a classic 4/4 "rock" groove and I'd like to transform it to get a more "reggae" groove, more syncopated. Is that easy/possible/difficult with Live ?
Thanks in advance

changing loop syncopation
Hi Jeepee,
I'm not sure that I understood well whay you are trying to achieve, but if I did, I think you could play with the warp markers in the loop to make it groove as you would like... Otherwise there is the groove parameter, if you just mean to shuffle the loop. The global groove is close to the tempo box on top of Live, and you can choose 1/8 or 1/16 or whatnot shuffle for the clip on the left of the clip view.
Hope that helps,
amo
PS: have you checked http://users.paris.live.online.fr , since you're in France (but maybe not in Paris ?)
