Play quicktime synth

Hi guys, I have a problem: is it possible to play midi files with apple quicktime synth ( like in the preview in the Finder )?
How can I assign this synth to a track?

well, if you can from the finder you can always play export the midi files from ableton and play them from there

Ok. but this is not my problem. There's no sense to do that. I already have the midi file on my computer, obviously...
I would have a quick preview in live playing quicktime synth that can be edited...
I hope it's clear... sorry, but I'm not english and I cant explain very well my problem...

then you should maybe look in the preferences of quicktime to see you can choose an input (midi)..

what kind of sound are you looking for? general midi? because then you can also use something like simplesynth for mac..
