It looks like a tutorial video on how to control automation with a midi track within LIVE itself. Anyone know how to do this?

search about dummy clips -
the basic idea being having midi notes in a midi clip looped back into the program via either midiyoke (pc) or IAC (mac)
these midi notes can then be assigned to the program's midi mapping and can control things like the channel mutes, which you see happening in that video
