I posted an earlier version of my beat juggler (re arranger) figured out I should probably post it in the rack list now.

here is an updated version of the rack, it is now stereo and also less CPU intensive.

this is a video of a beta version.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwCl_q2aRSw

it was made in live 8 not sure if it will work with 7

but here is v2 of the Juggler

http://www.wearerockstars.com/zalo/Jugglerv2.alp

mess around with it and give me some feedback!!

A new version of this Live 8 Audio Effects rack.

HeadSpinner is an extreme distortion effect. It will put out nothing recognizable from your input.
It uses a fair amount of CPU, too. Use at your own risk.

http://www.arachnaut.net/audio/Overload ... 20v2-1.adg

Example -
If you put this in: http://www.arachnaut.net/audio/Overload ... -INPUT.mp3
you will get this out: http://www.arachnaut.net/audio/Overload ... OUTPUT.mp3

Open up the internal racks and try them out.

Dual-Band Limiter

A perfect crossover with linked limiters on both bands. Allows independent limiting of bass and mids/highs. Crossover point and limiter ceiling mapped to macros. Enjoy!

Just put this effect after your favorite pad or lead and teach it how to speak.

For Live 8.

Wow, this is really a long list, it needs some time to check them out.

It's simply 8 Beat Repeats mapped to a chain control so you can use a knob on your MIDI controller to select which one you want.

You could also use the Filter within each Beat Repeat to set it to specific elements of the drums (eg. one for bass drum, another for snare etc.), but this is sample specific.
Thanks FatRabbit.
If we collect a bunch of these, I would be happy to put together a website that would serve as a library resource of cool racks.
I guess tha would be an exellent idea!

Nice, but shouldn't you map the low and high ceiling to separate macros?

Audio Effect Rack for Live 8.

Vocoder Generator.

This is one of those self-generating noise toys.

The Vinyl crackle effect drives the pitch extraction in the Vocoder.
Another harmonic can be added with a frequency shifter.
Then a grain delay adds a sense of space.

You can generate percussive tones at low crackle density or continuous drones at high densities.

For Live 8.

This audio effect will 'enrich' the sound of another instrument.

It uses the frequency shifter to subtract a frequency shifted and LFO modulated signal from the original.

It sounds a bit like a Chorus effect. You can stagger them - add a few in series - to get more.

Hi zalo your beat juggling machine is awesome! All of these racks are pretty cool actually,,,

One question for Zalo though - how did you split up the incoming signal into beats (1,2,3,4) for each chain ? I can't figure out how you've done it!
