Second rack share:

Custom Ableton Live Instrument Rack | Cy8

Built with the sampled sounds of a wildly generative community shared NI Reaktor Ensemble,
resulting in completely new sounds for your percussive library.
Simple macro control over Filter/Rel/Loop/Start/Length.
Hope you dig it. Feedback on sounds most definitely appreciated.

Updated all my racks to be compatible with Live 9, namely the ones that used EQ8 like the DJ emulations. Also created 3 brand new racks. You NEED Live 9.04 or newer to use all of the racks, however some should still open in Live 8.

Its an instrument rack built using my literature recorded as txt2speech, mangled a wee bit,
cropped and chopped into 34 hits on a drum rack.

Taken from my first txt2speech/noise work called YouBrokenCreature

It's awesome that all you guys are sharing racks for free, but to be honest combing through this thread is probably not the best way to find stuff easily (and there's a ton of dead links). So, rather than just whining about it, a couple friends and I decided to build a site that allows users to upload racks into a searchable database.

We're about ready to go live, but we need a few brave souls to help us test by uploading some free racks. If you want to help us out and have the first racks on the site, please PM me for info.

Here's a bunch of instruments I made all from a single drum loop... A Casio-esque tone, drawbar organ and pad sound... all with some separate FX chain s also included, also with lessons included on how I created the sounds from the drum loop as the audio source.

Soundcloud demo and download links here.

So we've had a handful of people help us test the site by uploading racks (and other items). Thank you! We've gotten some good feedback, and now we're ready to open it up and tell a few more people about it. We're really hoping you guys find it useful.

You can upload your own racks to share, or download items others have contributed, listen to previews, watch demo videos, etc. We're also hosting several other production tools like soundsets, touchosc templates, and more. Please feel free to create a profile and let us know what you think:

Looks really nice and simple to use, but I hate the way the thumbnails turn grey when you point at them, It's a big usability error.

But overall the look and feel of the site is great.

Ok, we'll look into that. For the items with audio previews attached, it actually turns into a player, which was initially why we did that.

Yeah, that could look quite cool, but again for usability I think it's better if the play button is always visible whenever audio is available, so the user can see which items have audio demos without having to roll over them.

I've made a couple midi effect racks. One is a chord randomizer which allows you to runs through cord and scale preset combos quickly. The other is a set of chord presets that are suitable for deep house.
