You guys gave me the idea of using the arp as a re-trigger effect, so the ROM rack works like it should now

here's a rack i made for live performance, handy to use with Looper:
>>> VeloSlice <<<
just drag any loop onto the Sampler and it will be ready-sliced into 8 equal chunks on keys C1 up.
the 8 macros allow you to fine-tune the start of each slice.

note: it's best to add a dummy sample to the Sampler and set Scale to 0% before saving to your library. Sampler wipes the Scale setting when you add a new sample from scratch, so you'd have to reset the Scale to 0% every time you use it, BUT if you save a dummy sample saved in there, dragging a sample on to Sampler will replace the dummy and keep the Scale setting intact.

fixed.
no need to do that dummy sample/scale stuff now; just drag n drop your loop onto sampler and it's ready-sliced.

Hey guys. I have been MIA for way too long.
I plan to revive this thread and clean it up. I'll find hosting for all of these racks. Help me out by emailing me your rack. I'll post them all up and make it real easy to get em.
Thanks!

Here are two I made..
The first is a sampled instrument from feedback from my laptop speakers

The second is a sample instrument from a 1960s Gibson acoustic played with an Ebow

Re: THE Rack List. (What can you do with Racks?)
Hello,
Every week I'm releaseing Free Ableton Live Racks and this one is a backwards piano. I sampled each key on my old Kranich and Bach 1913 upright piano and then reversed the samples, laid it out on an Ableton Rack and added effects. It creates a fun, trippy instrument. Enjoy!

Re: THE Rack List. (What can you do with Racks?)
hi there, i've pimped the eq3 inside a rack with a low-cut and a highcut filter, now you can use the 8 macro's to control your output.

here's another one that can really add spice to dj-sets, i've used the panner to create a beat cutter.

enjoy!!!
