Hey all - so I'm looking for a way to use one knob to control two filters, one low pass, one high pass:

with the knob at the 0 point, the low pass filter is completely closed, and the hi pass is completely open. At the middle mark (64) the low pass is completely open and the hi pass is completely open (i.e. no filtering at all). At the maximum value, the high pass is completely closed and the low pass is completely open.

In other words, 0-64 controls low pass filter, and has no effect on high pass filter, and 65-127 controls high pass filter, and has no effect on low pass filter.

I'm sure this is pretty simple when you know how - can anyone help?

How dare these people advertise their blogs where they give out free racks... LOL!

Hey guys, saw the chat about Racks and thought I'd ask if any of you on here want a keyboardist to help properly play out your melodies ? I've been making music for years on Ableton and have always done this for my friends

Read my credentials below
---------

I'm a classically trained pianist

I play by ear and can replay almost ANYTHING you throw at me (provided its not Beethoven) So, IF you have melodies in your head that you want out, if you hum them to me I can usually figure out what u want and lay it down. Or mash it out on hand for me and I'll expand on it.

I travel with a midi keyboard and can hook up to your setup.

Also hip hop producers ! I can replay most parts in your sample so you can have the option of not even using it afterwards!

Even though I'm classically trained, the main music I listen to is electronic, rnb, hip hop and soul.

So if any of you have music in your head but can't play it by hand. I can do it for you.

email me @allmatisse@gmail.com

I charge by the hour and live downtown Toronto.

There are a couple of racks on my page that are free. There is also an hour long video on how I built one of them on the site. The site inherently involves self promotion so if you are bothered by this you can use the links below.

Here is a video of The Green DJ EQ in use. The video on the site shows how to build it.

The link to the site is my signature

as far as sharing racks go,
does it matter what version live others are on....?
i know they won't have devices specific to v9.

and what's the best way to compress/save as pack/set or ?

i'm new to sharing instr's and fx racks. just want to be on the up and up.

cheers

Very first rack share! 8)

Its an instrument rack built using my literature recorded as txt2speech, mangled a wee bit,
cropped and chopped into 34 hits on a drum rack.

Taken from my first txt2speech/noise work called YouBrokenCreature
(a painstaking process of having the ol mac speak my literature):

Download the rack here...

Would totally dig feedback as well...
