Previewing (Headphone routing) Audio in Live with Firebox

The FAQ/Manual says there should be a routing option under Audio where you can select a pre-listen channel. I don't have that option at all and I want to be able to output the main song to channel 3/4, yet preview certain clips before I play them through my headphones (channel 1/2). Any ideas??

Update: The only way I can get more than 1/2 channels under Audio output is if I select ASIO drivers, but then all my audio is choppy, if I select MME/Direct X the audio is fine, but I don't have an option to make the cue channels different than the master out

Have you activated the audio in/out on the options>preferences menu?

and firebox requires you to start the firebox mixer software to get all of those routings.
