But, if you've recorded your whole set at the same bpm, now when you slave it to external (even at the same bpm) the slightly different variation in clock activates warping. As we all know, warping introduces artifacts unecessarily with external sync even though technically you are at the same bpm. A big price to pay if you are using that particular Live Set as a production sequencer instead of basic dj sync...
