long uninterrupted solo - how to do that ?

Post by TOTAL » Sun Jun 13, 2004 9:07 pm

how to do this:

a long solo on one track should be uninterruptedly accompanied by changes on other tracks

one obvious way is to assign computer keyboard keys to clips, but one key is one clip - there is no group triggering in 3.0.4 yet.

it may get difficult to make everything stay in synth if, say, eight or more clips are to be triggered at once to shock with a sudden wall of sound.

now, assigning a key to a whole row will interrupt the solo.

it IS possible to devote cubase to just one long solo track, but simplicity of the project and cpu will suffer.

what can u do in this case? is rewire with fe cubase the only way?

have you tried the "remove slot button" function? sounds like your answer...
