connecting Alesis 3630 to live 7

i'm brand new to the harware and software world ,just got the alesis 3630 comp ,and would like to know how to connect and use it inside live 7.
i'm also using 8pre motu sound card . so where should i start :?:

don't do it.

piping a 3630 into live is not worth it...you audio will sound shitty.
