How would I try your mapping? Open it from AutomapServer while I have Sylenth open? I'd love to try yours out, if you get time to put the file on zshare.

Are any of you guys using the "MIDI to QWERTY" feature with Live?
If so, are you doing it with the drum pads on Template 40? or what?

This whole Automap thing has taken quite an investment of time and energy but it's starting to sink in now, to the point of no return.

It should also be noted that you can recreate template 40 within a automap template. It's not 100% the same but you can have the eight knobs controlling the selected instrument in live and the eight sliders controlling the volumes of the first tracks.

This is a great Post! Thanks!

I want to be able to change the 16 buttons below the faders to start and stop clips (Upper start and lower stop). At present it seems to let me assign the midi command to the button but won't actually perform the action. I assume this is because I am conflicting with what the controllers internal template is wanting those buttons to do.

Any ideas? or Can I create an empty template somehow so I can just assign what I want to each button?

Thanks
