Making a blog collection of Ableton Live tutorials
Making a blog collection of Ableton Live tutorials
I decided to dedicate a blog page to compile some Ableton Live tutorials here: http://ableton-live-tutorials.blogspot.com/
I'm looking for suggestions on other video/text tutorials to add to the site.

I think that's a great idea. Here's some:
just a couple of the many threads about how to do 'loop pedal' style looping:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... kid+beyond
and a vid: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=JAA3PkWBHuY
and another one about looping that also has a BUNCH of info about mackie control emulation:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
here's one about making dub with ableton, which is actually helpful with many styles of music:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
sidechain compression:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29851
mouseless navigation:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
and finally, dummy clips:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 44&start=0
Hope that helps!

Here are 2 of mine:
Brake - A Live Lesson where I talk about how the track came to be, track per track explanation of the effects I used and why they are there, and some of my thoughts and guidelines I use for Arranging and Mixing.
Racks Lesson - A step by step starter’s guide on how to use racks.

heres another mouseless setup that also has midi resampling/looping and a nifty way to resample A/B cues with the push of a button
http://www.idmforums.com/showthread.php?t=14020
edit: also heres a pretty nifty way to "morph" midi from midi track 1 to midi track 2, it works pretty great on percussions anyways.
