I don't care what argument you throw at me. A synthesiser - virtual or analog - is never a tuba.
A synthesizer is not a tuba.
although a cat is not a dog either.
All lies :(

You need the GT500, or stop wasting your time with cracked software.

analog synths are unique.. and you can try but never actually emulate the sounds from a voyager or other analog beasts...

then again..
I dare you to find an analog synth that does what 'Absynth' does...

.. both kinds have their respectful place on the palette..

We're talking about synths as used in actual music production, though, aren't we? In a mix, the subtleties that distinguish
an analogue synth from a SW one are lost. I'm not dissing analogue enthusiasm, but nobody but the person who produced the
track will know or care anyway. All that matters is that the final result sounds good; if the producer/composer needs needs
an analogue synth to get there, I don't have a problem with that.

Analogue/Hardware synths are more fun to use, soft synths I still find cold to use, even with controllers.

Most people can't tell, some people like to think they can. That said, synth sounds I love always seems to be MS20s, but not analogue in general, as Moogs I've used... never got it.
