Do you put milk in your tea?

I'm trying to be vegan so I use soy milk but still.

I just drink green tea plain, no milk, no sugar.
I drink soy milk (i have it with my cereal and protein shakes) but i must say it tastes awful in tea and coffee.

If it is herbal tea no. Normal tea yes - the tanin upsets my stomach.

herbal no, with earl grey (which i love) it's a must, also in yogi tea it's a must and with 'normal' black tea it depends, sometimes.

Never for me. I am a big tea drinker, 2-3 pots per day, but milk with tea gives me an upset stomach.

8O 3 pots? Whoaa---I can agree with you on not using milk then---I only have about 2-3 cups a day. If I drinked as much as you I surely could'nt use milk. You my friend are a tea PRO :o

I fill half of my mug with milk. I microwave it a couple of times to make it steamy (I know microwaves are bad for you... I live on the edge). Then I get a cup of super hot water, and dangle my tea bag over the mug that's half filled with the steamy microwaved milk. I proceed to pour the hot water over the teabag so the hot water runs through the tea. It's kind of like "drip tea." I fill the mug up and drop the bag in. Squeeze in a "teaspoon" of honey (or raw sugar). Wait a few minutes, stir and enjoy.

I like the taste so much I quit drinking coffee. I still have an espresso drink once in a while for kicks.

English Breakfast mostly. Sometimes Tazo Awake. Chinese Imperial if I'm rocking the loose tea. Never Earl Gery. Never herbal anything. I drink hot green tea in the afternoon if I'm feeling droopy (no milk, sometimes sugar if I'm feeling extra droopy).

Will try this.
Don't over cook the milk. I do 33 seconds, take it out and stir the milk a little and nuke it for another 33 seconds with microwave at my work. I do the same with the microwave I have at home, but it takes a minute with each go.

Let me know how it turns out!

Clipper organic bags. Bigger than average mug. Freshly boiled water. Pour onto bag. Leave 1-3mins. Lift bag to surface of tea so its half submerged. Pour splash of milk through the tea bag. Cup of tea- done.

Or green tea. Put pinch (us westerners generally make green tea too strong) of green tea in bottom of bigger than average cup. Freshly boiled water. Leave said water to become totally still, 90 degrees C or therabouts. Pour over green tea. Steep for 2-3 mins, depending on tea. Consume. Good quality teas can be refreshed two or three times?

Why do communists drink Earl Grey? Because proper tea is theft.

Oh I like skimmed milk in tea the best too...

The lounge is great. Finally we get to discuss all the important things without having to wade through all the whining about sample rates, dither, bugs in Live etcetera. !!!!
