i admire all vids people post up to be fair, it takes balls and people can get some feedback too. It's also good performance practice. I have no qualms even with the most amateur stuff.

I knew this thread would rise some opposition

I watched to these vids because I was searching for interesting stuff about maschine,

and posted a negative thread about them because these vids bored me, I just thought "WTF??? why do these people post such useless vids???"

the 3rd may be not so "crap", but was just soooooo long and useless to my mind

best one i seen was with this kid and maschine.. it was a classic here in the forum before, starving student posted it.. but the user deleted all his vids from youtube.. i wonder why?

These are tutorials about Live's effects, but the sound quality is so shitty you can't even tell if he's even doing anything. There's also a lot of misinformation and just not understanding the effects, like for example in one of the videos:

"EQ has a rule: always cut before you boost."
*proceeds to boost the fuck out of the bass 1 minute later*

I got respect for the guy for making tutorials, since I'd never do something like that, but if it's about audio, don't you want better audio quality than recording inside a trashcan?
