PT-M-audio-Sibilus.. and so on will still be updated and supported, just with a different brand name.
Avid has always had digidesign.... it will just be Avid ProTools instead of Digidesign ProTools...

In the bigger scheme of things, i'm not sure the "Brand" was a big name.
The "Product" names, sure... but not the actual brand.
I'm sure there are many PT users that have no clue what Digidesign was...
Bit like the folks that call Live "Ableton"..
Only the other way round.
