Kids direct air traffic

Post by nebulae » Thu Mar 04, 2010 8:53 pm

Is the FAA overreacting? Are lives really at risk? http://wcbstv.com/local/jfk.air.traffic.2.1533423.html

Some people are REALLY getting worked up over this. I could care less, but I can guarantee you this is going to lead to some cock eyed law that screws someone over and cost taxpayers billions.

^ agreed...

in the grand scheme of things, the "risk" that people are getting worked up over is likely less than actually stepping onto a plane...I mean the kid spoke under the direction of the dad, and the pilots enjoyed to rapport...not sure there was any "risk" at all.

So nothing bad happened with the kid directing air traffic...this time.

There are tons of state laws that are completely ridiculous and hilarious. Some because they are so dated but others because some asshat did something that inspired the law. This also happens a lot within corporations. Even in my apartment lease it says "no meth labs". That wasn't put there just because somebody randomly thought of it.

Unless some lawyer wrote it while he was high.

Regarding the incident....

I personally don't mind what happened. But I can totally understand where others are coming from.

Dumbest story ever.

People get all worked up over the most trivial shit, while actual pressing matters get overlooked. Amazing.

10-15 years ago it would have been "cute kid" or America's Funniest Home Videos material.

most likely if a situation had arisen the parent would have taken over immediately.
I don't 'produce.' I write music.
