Most Americans bathe and groom frequently and really smell quite nice. Europeans on the other hand prefer the "au natural" musky smell and therefore generally don't worry about bathing frequently...they prefer to sip Espresso or admire their gardens....we Yanks refer to this simply as "B.O.". I once knew a German guy who wore a tweed sport coat everywhere...when he took it off, he'd stand it up in the corner.

Having said that...after any of your Euro-buddies get their wad off and their shits and giggles by calling Americans "fat asses"....make sure you remind them of how we saved their lazy socialist-government-handout slurping ancestors from tyranny and enlightened despots....on more than one occasion.
