Audio Kontrol is a no-go for me....gotta have a bit more I/O than that. Low latency is intriguing though.

Mackie's Onyx Satellite looks awesome, but with all those negative reviews I won't touch it.

Focusrite Saffire looks interesting, but it's discontinued. Don't really like the plastic aspects, but would be great to have zero-latency monitoring with reverb for vocals recording. Unfortunately the newer Saffire Pro 24 doesn't have the onboard DSP unless you go with the DSP version which is out of my price range.

I really liked my Firebox, although I wish it had lower latency and another 2 inputs would be nice so I could record a drum set decently.

Now I'm crying because I dared to look at an RME Fireface 400.....why oh why do they have to be $1200???? :cry: :cry: :cry:

^Because it's RME, and the USD sucks when compared to the Euro.

I got my RME 6 years ago for a total of $900 (card+box). Wouldn't part with it under any circumstances.
