Whoa, that is a really strange change of policy. I always check the changelog because I don't want to go through the trouble of installing a newer version that, let's face it, may very well be less stable than the version it is replacing, unless I know the newer version has addressed any of the problems that I face.

I guess it' like a little visual confirmation of the work thats been done. Gives the user an insight into the scurryings of the abes.
Asking the question in general about the grrove issues demonstrated to me I'm not a power user by any means so I guess I come across fewer bugs than some.

But really, do the Abes - instead of posting the change logs - now get back individually to everyone who has reported a bug
to tell them that they've fixed "their" personal bug? If not (slightly bizarre as that would be), is everyone just supposed
to assume that the problem they've been experiencing has been fixed?

A good point. No confirmation of fix leaves the user wondering if they should re-report without knowing if it's still being worked on, fixed or forgotten.

Wait. UKRuss, is a "whisk" a Brit thing that us here in the States call a plunger? 'Cuz I can't imagine a whisk (for beating eggs) being readily obtainable in the men's room . . . but in the Lounge, who knows?

On seeing the log I knew I would need a tool and so i retreated to the main Lounge to find something...only thing to hand was a whisk. It did the job. I cleaned it. Put it back in the kitchen drawer. no-one is any the wiser.
