@ dum:

Well, if all you're going to use your computer for is posting a thousand messages in three months, I'm sure that your PPC will suffice for a decade or two. If you free your right hand from your crotch, you might even get some sweet Ableton forum / Rebirth multitasking going!

Back on to the thread title. I bought this for my iphone and my first impressions are it is great to see Rebirth back, however the buttons are very small and it is difficult to control the knobs. I assume it is much better on an Ipad, but i live in England and we have to wait for ours :(

Realize that you can zoom in. It's still not as good as seeing the whole thing on a bigger screen but it eases the button size issue a bit.

This is awesome. Never have I ever seen such amazing & badass market branching before the iPhone/iPod touch came about. I still don't personally own one just but once my current phone contract ends I'll finally get to jump on ship. Golf clap Apple

Good read on the making of the ReBirth port for the iPhone by the developers:

Can the iPhone by any chance stream audio via the USB cable?

ya, so, after having another look at a buddies iPhone..... I can safely say nothing meaningful is likely to come from having rebirth on your iPhone, unless you can save rebirth files and open them with rebirth on windows7/XP or OSX

so can ya?

Good point, all these apps only appeal to me if there's some sort of export going on.

BTW, you can't use ReBirth on OS X can you?
