TO: anyone who has updated to the new iPad from the 2 or 1

QUESTION: Have you noticed that the new iPad is better in any way than the 2 (and a lesser extent, the 1) for music making apps?

Haven't played with the new iPad a bit - including some of my fav music apps - I can report no significant performance increase over the iPad2.

The iPad2 had an ENORMOUS amount of performance increase over the 1st gen - expected when the graphics card didn't change.

No really noticing any difference either, other than the newer screen inthe apps that have retina support. Looks nicer, but feels like the same amount of power and useful battery. Boots faster though.

Honestly, if you are on the fence, the 2 is still a really powerful tablet. Sure the new display is nice, but it's also thicker and heavier too.

I’ve noticed that with each consecutive iPad there’s been a big improvement in my disinterest in buying music apps. The only time I even remember there is music apps is when some noob asks about them. :x
