yeah i thought about that on Superbowl Sunday (when the laptop was being a little bitch)... i don't know if i'm that dedicated though. i have 2 Wii, 2 Xbox, a Blu-ray player, a TV, a Windows laptop, and the iMac all with their own independant capability of playing Netflix in one way or another. besides working with a 5 dollar remote app what value add would an Apple TV contribute?

on another note... Netflix is playing on these devices by using Silverlight so that might need to be what is controlled. i wonder if there is an app for that :?:  :x

Yeah, an Apple TV really would be redundant given everything else you have. The only other advantage would be if you have a lot of movies or TV shows in your iTunes library you want to watch. Wait, no. You could still just watch those using iTunes on your iMac and the remote app would work. Ignore my advice unless you have a TV in another room you want to have access to all that.

It really does feel like stepping back into the stone age when I’m watching a movie on my Mini through a projector and surround sound stereo but I have to get out of my damn recliner if I want to pause or play the thing. :x

Mixed bag, as usual.

Overall consensus? Win8 sucks ass.

I love when they try to gloss over fact filled negative points by concluding “it’s just too ahead of its time”.

Wether you have an iPad or a Surface, you can always clean it with this:

I remember having one of the first VCRs that had a wired remote with a 20' cable.

Maybe they have a USB version of that now for computers. :x

Yes, we know cleaning the display of your smartphone and tablet can take hours

 they KNOW this

the feature that allows it to tell where the edge of your screen is = cool... but seriously :| how many passes can this thing take on an iPhone or even a larger Android phone before it's just fukin stoopid? up. over 1/4 inch. down. over 1/4 inch. up...

seems like it would be more useful for one of those pac-man tables where you can play two players with one person on either end.

at least with one of these you can eat pizza or a Hot Mess from Jack in the Box and use your touch screen as a napkin.

Do we love the reduced frame size of the new iPad5?

YES. YES WE DO.

Left to right: existing iPad, (rumored) next gen iPad, iPad Mini.

In other news I brought my Mini to work today hoping I could stream Pandora but I get ground buzz every time I plug in my speakers. :x

I would love a smaller bezel and lighter iPad 4. If the mini gets retina, I'd be very tempted to sell my iPad3 for one. Everytime I pick up an iPad2 I'm like "grrrrrr.....WTF apple? "

I'm sure they could've had retina in the 1st mini but they kept it as a selling point for the next one, which I think is a general practice of theirs.

They already had retina in ipods, so it's not like it's an issue of size.
