Faith is highest amongst those who get sentenced to 25 to life for a crime they committed. Prior to that, not so much.

I used to believe in the comming of the Beter Gear that would take me to the promised land of Great Tunes, but I learned to live my life with my current Gear in mind and not the (hypothetical) Future Gear. im atheist. all that religion god stuff just doesnt make any sense to me.

at this point in my life, i really cant see anything in religion. and ive never really seen anything in it apart from nonsense. as for the future when old age comes on strong, maybe my viewpoint will change but i like to think it wont

Tell them stories about an invisible man with anger issues who created this hell hole universe we live in and is going to judge the shit out of you when you die. This has been going on for thousands of years because people are morons and will believe stupid shit they are told and don't think for themselves. IT JUST WORKS so don't expect it to end soon.

I'm a moderate/liberal Catholic. Proud to be so. Totally unfashionable but it works for me.

However, people will believe what they believe and whatever works for you is fine. Atheists don't bother me. People of other religions don't bother me. If you try to live a peaceful and virtuous life then you're alright by me, regardless of religion or anti-religion.

I don't have the time or energy to push religion or argue it's merits or failings but I wouldn't fight a war in 'the name of God' because this is not something advocated in modern teachings, except by people who want to twist religion for their own greed and corruption and who can exert influence and propaganda to people who don't know better.
